VHS Cover Heaven

My love of the Outer Limits VHS covers borders on the irrational, so I thought I'd get 'em together in one big group shot. I'm considering have a 20x30 poster printed up....

Ain't they beautiful? The DVDs don't come close, and I don't expect the Blu-rays to either. I mean sure, we get dramatically improved sound and picture, but there's something so satisfying about gazing lovingly at a complete collection of physical objects....

  1. Very nice! Thanks for sharing this with us. You are definitely afflicted ... but in a good way ... I guess.

  2. Very cool! That would make a great poster that my wife wouldn't let me hang anywhere...

  3. Just discovered your excellent blog - busy ploughing my way through it. After being introduced to The Outer Limits at the age of 10 in 1980, I've been a lifelong fan..a while ago I did this mashup that might tickle you:

  4. Hey I could paper a wall with that. I live near Salisbury, England, and have loved the original Outer Limits since I was about 14 (watched on a b&w portable TV in my bedroom after lights out). Thank you for your irreverent but loving blog

  5. Love your blog. Have been an OL fan since seeing original broadcasts when I was 8 years old. A Feasability Study was the one that hooked me and scared the ever living shit out of me!! I was a fan ever since, owning the VHS and DVD of all shows. I DVR episodes from MeTv with the commercials to duplicate that “original” experience. Also watch episodes on Hulu...must have seen each episode 20+ times and still watching. Thanks for all your insight!!
